- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread ketchup evenly over the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing to reveal the blood-red center.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the meat mixture.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or crispy fries.
