Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this spice mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and lemon juice. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If grilling, lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
- Cook the chicken on the grill for 6-8 minutes per side or bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest the chicken for 5 minutes after cooking. Slice into strips or bite-sized pieces, reminiscent of Survey Corps tactical gear.
Notes
- You can adjust the level of spice by increasing or decreasing the chili powder and paprika according to your preference.
- Marinating the chicken overnight enhances flavor and tenderness.
- Finish the chicken on a hot grill for extra charred flavor and visual appeal.
- Garnish with fresh parsley for color and freshness.
