Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine mixed berries, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla. Toss gently and set aside.
- Transfer the berry mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add the cold butter and cut in with a pastry cutter or fingers until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the berries.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving for best flavor.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen berries; thaw frozen berries and drain excess moisture before using.
- For gluten-free, replace all-purpose flour with almond or gluten-free flour and ensure oats are certified gluten-free.
