- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with milk. Mix until smooth.
- Divide batter into bowls and tint with red and pink food coloring.
- Spoon batter into cupcake liners, filling 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Decorate with sugar roses and edible glitter.
