Instructions
- Melt butter and dark chocolate together until smooth.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until combined.
- Mix in melted chocolate, then fold in flour and black food coloring to create stripes.
- Pour into greased ramekins and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12 minutes.
- Let cool slightly, then invert onto plates. Decorate with white icing to mimic stripes.
Notes
- Ensure not to overbake; lava cakes should be gooey inside.
- Adjust black food coloring for more vivid stripes.
