Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk, until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
