Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or plant-based alternative
- Small slider buns (mini brioche or potato rolls)
- Cheddar cheese slices or your favorite melting cheese
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickles
- Onion slices
- Special sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and relish mixed)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: bacon strips, caramelized onions, jalapeños
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
- Form the ground beef into small, evenly-sized patties suitable for sliders. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Place cheese slices on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the slider buns lightly in the oven or on a skillet for added crunch.
- Assemble the sliders by layering lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and the cooked beef patty on the bottom bun. Add the special sauce and top with the remaining bun.
- Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes such as burger and fries casserole or crispy onion rings.
Notes
- Use lean beef or plant-based patties for healthier options.
- Prepare the toppings in advance for quick assembly.
- To keep sliders juicy, avoid overcooking and add cheese towards the end.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer for best results.
