- 2 large butter croissants, fresh and freshly baked
- 4 shots espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional, for dusting)
- 1 small Tiffany blue gift box (decorative)
Instructions
- preheat oven to 375°f (190°c). place croissants on a baking sheet and bake for 5–7 minutes until warm and crisp.
- brew espresso and pour into two small espresso cups.
- arrange the warm croissants on a wooden board or large platter. slice one croissant in half crosswise, place back on board.
- add espresso cups, a small bowl of softened butter, and a decorative tiffany blue box nearby.
- optionally, dust top croissant with sugar before serving for a subtle sweetness.
Notes
- use high-quality butter — it makes all the difference with this simple board.
- for a dairy-free version, substitute plant-based butter and non-dairy milk coffee.
- add jam (optional) if desired — fig or orange marmalade pairs beautifully.
