Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar and water. Heat over medium, stirring until dissolved, then bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in blue food coloring and your flavoring extract until well mixed.
- Pour the syrup onto a baking sheet lined with wax paper and let it cool until crystallized, several hours or more.
- Once set, break into pieces and dust with powdered sugar.
