- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns (preferably brioche)
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or American)
- Fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickles for toppings
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Divide the meat mixture into four equal parts and shape them into patties.
- Heat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- During the last minute, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Assemble the Heisen-Burgers with the bottom bun, topped with the cooked patty, fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles, and your favorite condiments.
Notes
- If you have leftovers, store cooked patties in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- You can freeze cooked patties for up to a month; just reheat and assemble when ready to enjoy.
- Serve with crispy fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
