Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- Assorted ice cream toppings (e.g., sprinkles, chocolate syrup, fruits)
- Ice cream cones or cups
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until sugar dissolves completely and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions for about 20-25 minutes until it reaches soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Scoop the ice cream into cones or cups and set up a toppings station for guests to enjoy.
Notes
- Store any leftover ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer to maintain freshness. Best enjoyed within 1-2 weeks.
- Feel free to customize flavors by adding extracts, fruits, or mix-ins to the base mixture.
- No ice cream maker? You can freeze the mix in a container and stir every 30 minutes until it reaches the desired texture.
