Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into 12-16 meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs, turning occasionally, until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over meatballs and bring to a simmer. Cover and let simmer on low for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice sub rolls lengthwise, fill with meatballs and marinara, top with mozzarella cheese, and bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
