Ingredients
Scale
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Cheddar cheese or yellow cheese slices (for decorative elements)
- Optional: edible gold glitter for a sparkling finish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely.
- Decorate the brownies to resemble Tow Mater using slices of cheddar cheese for the grill or headlights, and optional edible glitter for a shiny metallic appearance.
- Optional: Cut into squares and serve with a side of Radiator Springs-themed snacks.
Notes
- Use sharp cheddar or yellow cheese slices for best visual impact.
- Applying edible gold glitter adds a sparkling, metallic finish to mimic Tow Mater’s shiny appearance.
- Decorate just before serving for the best cheese and glitter presentation.
