- 1 lb ground beef or sliced steak
- 4 large potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until translucent.
- Add ground beef or sliced steak, cook until browned.
- Stir in diced potatoes, cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
