Instructions
- Wash and pit the fresh cherries, then combine them in a bowl with sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt, mixing until crumbly.
- Spread the cherry mixture evenly in a baking dish and top with the crumble mixture.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
- Store leftovers tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Best served warm, with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce.
- Fresh sweet cherries are recommended, but frozen can be used if thawed.
