Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, mixing well.
- Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Shape the dough into 1-inch balls, then flatten slightly and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Top each cookie with a chopped nut to resemble the acorn’s cap.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden around the edges.
- Once cooled, dip the top of each cookie in melted chocolate or attach chocolate chips to mimic the acorn’s cap.
- Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
