- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Fresh herbs: rosemary, thyme, and parsley

- 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
- Vegetables for roasting (carrots, potatoes, onions)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Rinse the whole chicken under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Rub the chicken generously with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stuff the cavity with lemon slices, rosemary, thyme, and parsley for added flavor. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Arrange chopped carrots, potatoes, and onions in a roasting pan. Place the seasoned chicken on top. Pour white wine or chicken broth into the pan.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste occasionally for crispy, golden skin.
- Once cooked, let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with roasted vegetables and pan juices for an elegant presentation.
