Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain well.
- In a large bowl, mash potatoes until smooth. Mix in melted butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mashed potatoes to a baking dish, top with grated cheese.
