Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine rice cereal and chopped apples.
- In a saucepan, melt butter, caramel bits, and brown sugar over low heat until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the cereal mixture and toss gently to coat.
- Spread on a baking sheet to cool slightly, then sprinkle with candy melts and let set before serving.
