Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and then whisk in milk and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Add food coloring if desired.
- Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease.
- Pour batter to form Mickey Mouse heads (large circle for the face, smaller circles for ears).
- Cook until bubbles form and edges are golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- Stack and decorate with berries, syrup, or whipped cream.
Notes
- If batter is too thick, add a splash of milk to loosen.
- Use a squeeze bottle or piping bag for precise Mickey shapes.
