Ingredients
Scale
- 1 head of fresh cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari for a gluten-free option
- 2 tablespoons sriracha or your favorite spicy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets; ensure uniform size for even cooking.
- Toss the cauliflower with 2 tablespoons olive oil until evenly coated.
- Spread the cauliflower on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway for even browning.
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the roasted cauliflower in a large bowl and pour the sauce over. Toss gently to coat evenly.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving hot.
Notes
- For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of sriracha sauce used.
- The dish can be served with steamed rice or as part of a Dragon Ball Z themed meal.
- Use fresh cauliflower for best texture and flavor.
