- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Food coloring (green, orange, and yellow)
- Edible gold or yellow food glitter (for accents)
- Fresh ginger, grated (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the all-purpose flour with a pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl. Gradually add warm water while mixing until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and rest for 20 minutes.
- Divide the rested dough into three equal parts. Mix food coloring into each part to create vibrant green, orange, and yellow sections. Knead until evenly colored.
- In a bowl, mix minced meat with scallions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to prepare the filling.
- Flatten each colored dough portion into thin circles. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle.
- Pinch edges to seal into spheres or Dragon Ball shapes. Use a toothpick with food coloring to add Shenron’s eyes or symbols if desired.
- Steam the dumplings over boiling water for 10-12 minutes or boil for 8-10 minutes until tender and translucent.
Notes
- You can customize the filling with vegetables for a vegetarian version.
- Use a fine brush or toothpick to add detailed Shenron symbols or eyes for extra decoration.
