- 1 lb chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season chicken slices with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté chicken until cooked through, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic and peppers until tender.
- Add orzo and cook, stirring, until lightly toasted.
- Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until orzo absorbs liquid.
- Stir in heavy cream, return chicken to skillet, and cook until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
