- 1 lb chicken breasts or thighs, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in spices: garam masala, cumin, turmeric; cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken chunks and cook until browned.
- Pour in tomato sauce; simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream; cook for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with cilantro, serve over rice.

- Use boneless, skinless chicken for quick cooking.
- Adjust spice levels to taste.
- Serve with basmati rice or naan bread.
