Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a small saucepan, warm honey or maple syrup with vanilla extract until runny.
- Toss pecans with the warm syrup until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the pecans and stir until coated.
- Spread pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through, until fragrant and caramelized.
- Allow to cool completely before serving or storing.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
- For an extra crunch, bake a few extra minutes but watch closely to prevent burning.
