Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the milk and heavy cream over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
- Whisk in cocoa powder and sugar until fully dissolved and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and an assortment of toppings.
Notes
- For a non-dairy version, substitute almond or oat milk.
- For a richer flavor, add a few squares of chocolate to the mixture while heating.
