- 1.5 pounds beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place sliced beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic into the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, until beef is tender.
- Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry; add to the slow cooker and stir.
- Cook on high for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken or tofu for beef for a different variation.
- For spicier flavor, add chopped chili peppers or a dash of hot sauce.
