Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and mashed bananas. Mix until combined.
  4. Gradually fold indry ingredients, just until incorporated. Gently stir in walnuts, pears, and pecans.
  5. Pour batter into pan. Smooth top. Bake 55–65 min, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pan 10 min, then transfer to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
