Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend recommended for flavor)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, provolone, or Swiss work well)
- Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, bacon, etc.)
- Condiments of your choice (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, burger sauce, etc.)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Mix gently until combined.
- Divide the mixture into four portions and shape each into a round patty, refining edges with a cookie cutter.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) is reached.
- In the last minute of grilling, add cheese on each patty to melt, then assemble on hamburger buns with your choice of toppings and condiments.
Notes
- Use high-quality ground beef for the best flavor.
- Don’t overmix the beef mixture; handle it gently.
- Ensure the grill is hot to get a good sear on the patties.
- Toast the buns lightly for added texture and flavor.
- Customize the toppings and condiments to your liking!
