Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips, melted for dipping
  • Edible gold dust or luster powder

Instructions

  1. Whisk dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and food coloring.
  3. Pour wet mix into dry and stir until just combined — do not overmix.
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake.
  5. Cook until bubbles form, flip and cook until golden (2–3 mins per side).
  6. Trim edges for round ‘coins’ and dip bottoms in melted chocolate for realism.
  7. Serve stack dusted with edible gold, topped with optional whimsical toppings.
