Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)
- 4 ears of corn (halved)
- 1 lb baby potatoes (halved)
- 1 lemon (quartered)
- 1 onion (quartered)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- 4 cups water or seafood stock
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water or seafood stock to a boil. Add Old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, red pepper flakes, garlic, and onion. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add potatoes and corn. Cook for 10-12 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Drain and transfer to a serving platter. Squeeze lemon juice and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best texture and flavor.
- Adjust spice levels with more or less Cajun seasoning.
- Don’t overcook shrimp—they become rubbery if boiled too long.
- Serve with crusty bread to soak up the juices.
