Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup assorted chocolate chips (dark, milk, white)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Variety of add-ins for the assorted brownies (marshmallows, crushed cookies, candies)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, folding gently. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts if using.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and evenly spread. Divide or dollop different add-ins (marshmallows, cookies, candies) into the batter. Use a toothpick to swirl or press them gently into the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Customize your assorted brownies by mixing different candies, chocolates, or toppings for variety.
- Ensure add-ins are evenly dispersed for an attractive appearance and consistent flavor in each piece.
- Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week for longer freshness.
