- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup colorful sprinkles
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, corn syrup, salt, and butter. Stir until well blended.
- Place the mixture on the stove over medium heat. Stir continuously until it starts to boil, then let it boil for 2-3 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in vanilla extract and crispy rice cereal until fully coated. Pour into a greased baking dish and sprinkle colorful decorations on top. Allow to cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut into squares or desired shapes and serve or package as gifts.

- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
