Instructions

- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Use a stand mixer for best results.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet ingredients on low speed.
- Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes until golden around the edges.
- Let cookies rest on baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For softer cookies, bake for 9 minutes. For crunchier edges, bake closer to 11 minutes.
- Use high-quality chocolate chips for richer flavor.
- Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
