Ingredients
Scale
- 8 slices of fresh sourdough or white bread
- 1 lb roasted turkey breast, sliced
- 1 cup leftover turkey gravy (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup prepared stuffing
- 4 tbsp butter, softened
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice roasted turkey breast into thin, even pieces and gently reheat if using leftovers
- Soak two bread slices in warm turkey gravy for 10 seconds per side to create the moist maker layer
- Butter one side of remaining bread slices and layer with turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing
- Add the gravy-soaked bread slice, then repeat turkey, cranberry, and stuffing layers
- Top with second buttered bread slice and grill in a skillet for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown
Notes
- Use day-old bread for better gravy absorption without falling apart
- Warm gravy slightly before soaking the bread
- Add Swiss or cheddar cheese for extra richness
- Serve with extra gravy for dipping
- Best enjoyed fresh but components can be stored separately for up to 3 days
