Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef or turkey and cook until browned, breaking apart the meat with a spatula.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the cooked meat. Sauté until translucent and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute to release the spices’ aroma.
- Add crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, and corn. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Lower the heat, cover, and let simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to meld flavors.
