Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until smooth.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; fold until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra fudginess, slightly underbake by a minute or two.
