Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces of firm white fish (like cod or tilapia)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Fresh herbs for garnishing (like parsley or cilantro)
Instructions
- Start by rinsing the fish fillets under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle olive oil over the fish, and then apply the spice mixture on both sides of the fish.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the spice-rubbed fish on the grill, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Once grilled, remove the fish from the grill, let it rest briefly, and plate it with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
Notes
- Store leftover fish in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- This fish pairs excellently with salads or roasted vegetables.
- Consider serving with garlic butter or yogurt sauce for added flavor.
