- 1 cup cold water
- 1 (3 oz) package lime gelatin
- 1 (3 oz) package lemon gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup clear corn syrup
- Edible glitter (optional)
- Ghost-shaped mold (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, stir cold water into lime gelatin until dissolved.
- Pour into a shallow dish or mold and refrigerate 30 minutes until set.
- In another bowl, stir boiling water into lemon gelatin until dissolved. Stir in lemon juice and corn syrup.
- Pour gently over set lime layer to create a yellow top layer.
- Refrigerate 2+ hours until fully set.
- Unmold if using a ghost shape, or serve in dish. Sprinkle with edible glitter for ‘slime’ effect.
Notes
- For extra glow, use tonic water instead of cold water and serve under blacklight.
- Make ahead—keeps 3–4 days refrigerated.
- Non-vegan; for vegan version, swap gelatin for agar-agar.
