- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Burger buns
- Toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, mustard
- 2 large potatoes (for fries)
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and chopped onions, then form into patties slightly larger than the buns.
- Heat the grill over medium-high heat and grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side. Add cheese during the last minute of cooking.
- Peel and cut potatoes into thin strips, then fry in heated oil at 350°F (175°C) until golden and crispy.
- Assemble the burger with toppings and serve with fries.
Notes
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
- Reheat burgers in a skillet or microwave; fry fries until crispy again.
- Pair with soda, milkshake, or side salad for a balanced meal.
