- 3/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips gently.
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop portions of dough onto the sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool on baking sheet before transferring to wire racks.
