- 1 batch of ready-made crescent roll dough (8 oz)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butterscotch chips, melted and cooled slightly
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Edible gold dust or luster dust
- Mini golden spheres (edible chocolate or candy gold balls)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Unroll crescent dough and press seams together to form one rectangle.
- Brush dough with melted butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Roll up tightly and cut into 12 slices. Place cut-side down on baking sheet.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly.
- Whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and melted butterscotch chips until smooth.
- Frost each roll lightly. Dust with edible gold dust.
- Gently press one golden sphere onto the center of each frosted roll.

- For vegan version: use plant-based crescent dough, vegan cream cheese, and dairy-free butterscotch chips.
