Instructions
- Line a large silver or white ceramic platter with crisp lettuce leaves or endive leaves for stability and visual contrast.
- Pile crushed ice evenly over platter, ensuring it covers at least two-thirds of surface area.
- Arrange shucked oysters evenly over the ice, hinge-side down, with round shells facing outward.
- Sprinkle microgreens or chopped chives around oysters and top each with a small dollop of cocktail sauce or horseradish.
- Place caviar-topped blinis in a decorative arc or scatter them gently among the oysters.
- Garnish with lemon wheels/halves and a light dusting of edible gold flakes for a Gatsby-era shimmer.
