- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the baking soda, salt, and flour.
- In the bowl with mashed bananas, add melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, vanilla extract, and Bailey’s Irish Cream. Mix thoroughly.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Notes
- Store the banana bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
- For longer storage, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and freeze for up to three months.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream or chocolate sauce for a decadent treat.
