- ¾ cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup sliced pepperoni
- ½ cup diced bell peppers
- ¼ cup sliced black olives
- Pizza seasonings (oregano, basil, garlic powder)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead until smooth and elastic, then let rise for 30 minutes.
- Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread pizza sauce over the dough, followed by mozzarella cheese and your choice of toppings.
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For longer storage, freeze slices wrapped in plastic wrap for up to 3 months.
- To reheat, place in the oven for optimal crispiness.
