Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix gently.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or skillet over medium heat. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake and cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form.
- Flip pancakes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown on both sides. Keep warm and repeat with remaining batter.
Notes
- For extra fluffy pancakes, let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes before cooking.
- Add blueberries, chocolate chips, or sprinkles for a fun twist.
- Keep cooked pancakes warm in a preheated oven (200°F) until ready to serve.
