  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • Red food coloring or edible gel for fiery swirl

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. Divide dough in half. Mix caramel sauce into one half, then add a few drops of red food coloring to create a fiery swirl.
  7. Scoop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, alternating plain and swirled dough for visual effect.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool on wire racks before serving, optionally drizzling with more caramel and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
