- Assorted toppings: cocoa powder, crushed nuts, or sprinkles
Instructions
- Finely chop the high-quality chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
- Warm the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until just before boiling. Pour it over the chopped chocolate.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, then stir gently until smooth and glossy. Add vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 1-2 hours until the mixture firms up enough to scoop.
- Using a teaspoon or a melon baller, scoop out small portions and roll into balls with your hands.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder, crushed nuts, or sprinkles. Dust with edible gold dust or glitter for a magical effect.
- Place the finished truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for an additional 30 minutes to set.
Notes

- For longer storage, freeze wrapped truffles in plastic wrap inside a resealable bag for up to a month.
- Allow the truffles to come to room temperature before serving for best flavor and texture.
