Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake tray with liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat eggs, oil, vanilla, milk, and peppermint extract until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chopped dark chocolate.
- Spoon batter into cupcake liners, filling 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before frosting and decorating with gold dust.
