- 1 lb salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Rinse the salmon fillet under cold water and pat dry.
- Season both sides of the salmon with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
- Place the seasoned salmon in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Garnish with lemon slices on top.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days in the refrigerator.
- For gluten-free, substitute soy sauce with a gluten-free alternative.
- Add red pepper flakes to the marinade for a spicy kick.
